This past year, Sarah and I launched the Beautiful Gate Arts Collective. The Beautiful Gate Arts Collective's goal is to gather Christian artists from our area for prayer, worship, encouragement, training and collaboration as we seek to share beauty and our love for Jesus with the communities we are a part of. John 3:2-11 inspired the name of the collective. The narrative recounts John and Peter’s prayer over a crippled man who received God’s healing over his body at the gate of the temple called the “beautiful gate.” We believe God wants to bring blessing and healing to our local region at the crossroads of art (beauty) and faith!
We’ve been meeting as a collective once a month since January.
