Hello friends!

A very very happy new year to you all! May you encounter Jesus in new and rejuvenating ways as you continue to faithfully follow him this year. Thank you all for following us on this journey as missionaries in Quebec, and for your prayers, encouragement, financial support and friendship! We’re so grateful for the community of the body of Christ that we get to be a part of.

We just wanted to let you know of a few upcoming things in the near future, and ask for PRAYER as we dig in our heels…

This is a big week with a few events taking place:

  • our first gathering of the year for the Beautiful Gate Arts Collective (we’re excited to start year two of this new initiative. Please pray for the artists from our area who are a part of this, that they would be encouraged, refreshed and empowered by the Spirit, particularly in their artistic expression and creativity).
  • our first Youth Art Hive of the year (once a month we gather together a dozen teens from the area for an arts drop-in where we do workshops, work on creative projects and mostly just enjoy the company of other creatives. Please pray these times would be safe, restful and inspiring spaces for them to discover more of God and who they are in him, and that those who don’t know Jesus would come and be a part!)
  • Bible Week (for 7 days straight, we’ll be guiding a couple dozen young adults and teens from Genesis to Revelation. We’ll be facilitating, teaching and translating this week in the context of the Discipleship Training School that has just begun here in YWAM Dunham and are excited to have lots of people from the local community joining in too. Pray that people would meet with God in powerful and delightful ways, that they would be more assured of his love for them, and also for a couple participants who are very new believers and even one who is still seeking).
  • We will very soon be purchasing our plane tickets for the pastoral visit we will be making in February. We will be visiting a family we sent out from YWAM Dunham to join a team pioneering YWAM in Fanda, Senegal (West Africa). We are SO thankful to several who have helped cover the cost of one of our tickets! We still need to raise around $2500 for the rest of the trip. If you have on your heart to participate in our fundraiser, please let us know. Please pray that God would make a way for us to make this trip fully funded.

Thank you all . Take good care, enjoy the snow and lots and lots of love from Dunham, Quebec!
